Port-Jackson sharks mating
Two Port-Jackson sharks mating. The male (right) bites onto one of the female’s pectoral fin to hold her close, while it inserts its claspers (male genitals) for coitus.
These sharks were photographed in Cabbage Tree Bay (north Sydney, NSW, Australia) in August 2020.
