The Apex boat ramp is the town of Narooma (New South Wales, Australia) is a popular attraction for locals and tourists, as they jump in, out of a boat, or just take a walk along the Wagonga inlet.
Large smooth stingrays (or "bull rays", as they're called locally) will swim very close to shore in hope to get an easy meal from people cleaning their catch of the day on the fish cleaning tables.
These rays are both beautiful and intimidating: I decided to get in the water to photograph one of them together with fellow homo sapiens who come to observe them.
