Sharks

Although sharks sit at the top of the ocean food chain, their numbers are plummeting due to over-fishing: over 100 million sharks are killed each year, and this creates a dangerous imbalance for our oceans, threatening our own future. Google it to find out more and what you can do to help.
Sharks are certainly apex predadors, to be treated with respect, but they are not the killing machines which the film-industry and a few irresponsible media have been showing us.
Otherwise we wouldn't have many fingers left after taking these photos ;)
